Eaton County Commissioner Jane Whitacre Endorses Bridget Brink for Congress
Whitacre: “Bridget Brink is exactly who we need representing us in Congress.”
LANSING, MI – Today, Eaton County Commissioner Jane Whitacre endorsed Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District.
“As a sixth-generation Michigander and lifelong public servant, Bridget Brink is exactly who we need representing us in Congress,” said Eaton County Commissioner Jane Whitacre. “With the chaos coming out of Washington, we need a proven leader who will do what is right for the people they serve, no matter the consequences. Bridget has done that before, and I know she’ll do it again for the people of Eaton County. In Congress, she will be a champion for what matters most for Michiganders: strong public schools, good jobs, affordable and accessible health care, and government that delivers for the people. I’m proud to endorse Bridget Brink to represent Michigan’s 7th District in Congress.”
“My family’s American Dream began in Eaton County and I’m so proud to have the endorsement of Eaton County Commissioner Jane Whitacre,” said Bridget Brink, former U.S Ambassador to Ukraine and Democrat running for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District.“I look forward to working with her to deliver for the hardworking people of Eaton County.”
Jane Whitacre has represented Eaton County’s 6th District on the Eaton County Board of Commissioners for 13 years. A Delta Township resident, she has been a lifelong social justice advocate.
