UNITE HERE Local 24 Endorses Bridget Brink for Congress
“Bridget Brink doesn’t just talk about standing with organized labor, as a third-generation union member, she has actually done it her entire life.”
LANSING, MI – Today, UNITE HERE Local 24, the union representing over 8,000 workers in the hospitality sector, endorsed Bridget Brink for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District.
“Bridget Brink doesn’t just talk about standing with organized labor, as a third-generation union member, she has actually done it her entire life,” said UNITE HERE Local 24 President Terrell George. “We know that Bridget will be a tireless fighter for truly fixing our broken healthcare system, good-paying union jobs, and an economy that works for working people. Local 24 and its more than 8,000 members are proud to endorse and work to elect Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District.”
“As a third-generation union member, the American Dream I experienced here in Michigan would not have been possible without organized labor,” said former U.S. Ambassador and Democrat running for MI-07 Bridget Brink. “Unions built the middle class. I am so proud to have the hard-working Michiganders of UNITE HERE Local 24 standing with me in this campaign. I look forward to standing in solidarity with them in the fight for fair wages, good benefits, and the right to collective bargaining.”
