State Representative Jennifer Conlin Endorses Bridget Brink for Congress
Rep. Conlin: “Bridget Brink is the candidate we need to beat Tom Barrett in November.”
LANSING, MI – Today, State Representative Jennifer Conlin endorsed Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District.
“Bridget Brink is the candidate we need to beat Tom Barrett in November,” said State Representative Jennifer Conlin. “As the lone Democratic legislator representing Livingston County at the state level, I know that Bridget is the champion our county and the 7th District needs in Congress. A sixth-generation Michigander, breast cancer survivor, and war zone ambassador, Bridget has the values, grit, and experience to take on tough battles and deliver: lowering costs, fixing our broken health care system, and fighting like hell to hold this administration accountable. Join me in supporting Bridget Brink to flip Michigan’s 7th District.”
"’Women from Michigan’ lead the way and get things done — State Representative Jennifer Conlin is a prime example of that and I’m so honored to receive her endorsement," said Bridget Brink, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and Democrat running for Michigan’s Seventh Congressional District. “Representative Conlin is a fearless champion for Livingston County in the State House. Her endorsement means the world to me and I look forward to following her clear and powerful example to build an economy that works for everyone, make health care accessible and affordable, and deliver results for our district.”
Jennifer Conlin has represented the 48th District in the Michigan State House since being elected in 2022. She is currently the only Democratic legislator who represents Livingston County at the state level. Rep. Conlin serves on the House Oversight Committee, as well as the Oversight Subcommittee on Homeland Security and Foreign Influence and the Oversight Subcommittee on Child Welfare System, on which she serves as Minority Vice Chair. Her family has a long legacy of public service in city, county, and state governments, and continues to serve on the judicial bench to this day. During her decades-long career as a journalist, she had the opportunity to meet people all over the world and share their stories.
With over $1.6 million raised since her launch in mid-June, Bridget Brink is the number one fundraiser among Democratic challengers in Michigan and begins 2026 with double the cash-on-hand of the nearest MI-07 Democratic challenger.
