Leading the Field: Bridget Brink Has Most Endorsements in MI-07 Primary
Brink: “We are building the team it will take to flip Michigan's 7th District — and we are just getting started.”
LANSING, MI – Bridget Brink's campaign for Michigan's 7th Congressional District has earned more endorsements than any other candidate in the MI-07 Democratic primary, with 32 endorsements from across mid-Michigan.
Brink's endorsements include current and former elected officials from Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Livingston, Oakland, and Shiawassee counties; former Speaker of the Michigan House and current State Representative Joe Tate; State Representatives Jennifer Conlin and Noah Arbit; former 2026 MI-07 candidate Josh Cowen; legendary former State Representatives Joan Bauer and Bus Spaniola; East Lansing Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Grigsby and Lansing City Council President Peter Spadafore; UNITE HERE Local 24, the union representing over 8,000 hospitality workers; EMILYs List, the nation's largest resource for women candidates; and Veterans for Responsible Leadership, among many others.
"I am incredibly humbled and grateful for the support of so many remarkable leaders from across our district," said Bridget Brink, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and Democrat running for Michigan's Seventh Congressional District. "Our coalition reflects exactly what this campaign is about: bringing people together from every corner of our community to lower costs, make health care accessible and affordable, and hold Trump accountable. We are building the team it will take to flip Michigan's 7th District — and we are just getting started.”
The Cook Political Report highlighted Brink’s momentum this week, describing her as “the quintessential Trump resister” and “a strong fundraiser.” With over $1.6 million raised since her launch in mid-June, Bridget Brink is the number one fundraiser among Democratic challengers in Michigan and began 2026 with double the cash-on-hand of the nearest MI-07 Democratic challenger.
