Francis "Bus" Spaniola Endorses Bridget Brink

LANSING, MI – Today, former State Representative Francis “Bus” Spaniola, who represented Shiawassee County and parts of Clinton, Genesee, and Livingston counties, endorsed Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District.
“Bridget Brink genuinely cares about people and has devoted her life to public service,” said former State Representative Francis “Bus” Spaniola. “A sixth-generation Michigander, Bridget served our country for 28 years with the highest degree of integrity, perseverance, and effectiveness. I know that Bridget will be a true champion in Congress for Shiawassee County and all of mid-Michigan. She will fight to preserve our environment, fund our schools, and make life more affordable.”

Francis “Bus” Spaniola served parts of Shiawassee, Clinton, Genesee, and Livingston Counties in the Michigan State House of Representatives from 1975 to 1990. During his time in the House, Spaniola served as the Chair of the House Committee on Senior Citizens & Retirement and as Vice-Chair of the Committee on Public Safety, the Committee on Roads and Bridges, and the Committee on Agriculture. He previously taught high school history and government in Durand, Corunna, and East Lansing. Spaniola has served on the Library of Michigan Board of Trustees. A U.S. Army veteran, Spaniola is a graduate of Corunna High School and Michigan State University.
