East Lansing School Board Secretary Chris Martin Endorses Bridget Brink for Congress
Martin: “Bridget Brink will be a champion for public education and families as our next Member of Congress.”
LANSING, MI – Today, East Lansing School Board Secretary Chris Martin endorsed Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s Seventh Congressional District.
“A proud graduate of Michigan public schools and daughter of an MEA teacher, Bridget Brink will be a champion for public education and families as our next Member of Congress,” said East Lansing School Board Secretary Chris Martin. “Bridget’s Michigan public school education propelled her to a 28-year career serving our country, including as a Director on President Obama’s National Security Council and as a two-time U.S. Ambassador. Bridget is the best candidate to beat Tom Barrett and flip Michigan‘s 7th Congressional District and I’m proud to endorse her campaign to do exactly that.”
“My Michigan public school education gave me the foundation to pursue the American Dream — and every single kid in Michigan deserves the same,” said Bridget Brink, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and Democrat running for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. “Since 2019, Chris Martin has fought tirelessly for public schools as a Trustee, President, and now Secretary of the East Lansing School Board. I’m honored to have his endorsement to flip Michigan’s 7th District.”
