Delta Township Trustee Andrea Cascarilla Endorses Bridget Brink for Congress

LANSING, MI – Today, Delta Township Trustee Andrea Cascarilla endorsed Bridget Brink for Congress in Michigan’s Seventh Congressional District.
“Bridget Brink is exactly the leader Michigan’s 7th District needs in Congress,” said Delta Township Trustee Andrea Cascarilla. “As a sixth-generation Michigander and third-generation union member, Bridget will be a champion for what matters most to all of us: lowering costs, making health care affordable, fighting for good jobs and strong public schools. Bridget has spent 28 years proving she gets things done with Michigan integrity and grit, even in the toughest environments. Delta Township families need a champion in Washington who will put them first, and I'm proud to endorse Bridget Brink to be that champion in Michigan's 7th Congressional District.”

A Delta Township native, Andrea M. Cascarilla was first elected as Delta Township Trustee in 2016 and is currently serving her third consecutive term. Andrea represents the board on the Delta Township Zoning Board of Appeals, Sign Board of Appeals and Elections Commission, and is an appointed member of the Eaton County Land Bank Authority Board. Andrea is the Government Policy Advisor for Dykema's government relations practice. Prior to being elected to the township board, Andrea was appointed to the Delta Township Planning Commission where she was subsequently elected to the commission positions of Secretary, Vice-Chair, and Chair, and served in that capacity until she took office as a Township Trustee. She is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Delta Township. Prior to her work in local, state and federal government relations, Andrea spent nearly 25 years as lead staff in the Michigan Legislature where she earned a reputation as an effective policy and appropriations professional.
Andrea is currently running for Delta Township Supervisor and has been endorsed by current Delta Township Supervisor Fonda Brewer, State Senator Sarah Anthony, State Representative Angela Witwer, Eaton County Sheriff Tom Reich, and more. Andrea and her husband Chuck reside in Delta Township with their three children.
