BRINK LEADS MI-07 FIELD WITH OVER $2.2 MILLION TOTAL RAISED, RAISES OVER $600,000 IN FIRST QUARTER OF 2026
Bridget Brink: “I’m incredibly grateful for the overwhelming grassroots support for our campaign to flip Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Our momentum sends a clear message: mid-Michiganders want leaders willing to shake up the status quo, hold the powerful accountable, and tackle the high cost of living. That’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress.”
LANSING, MI – Bridget Brink continues to be the #1 fundraiser in the Democratic primary for Michigan’s 7th Congressional district, with over $2.2 million total raised in just nine months, more than $500,000 than any other challenger. The second quarter of 2026 is Brink’s fourth consecutive quarter raising over half a million dollars in her campaign, bringing in more than $600,000. She is the top fundraiser among all Democratic challengers in Michigan this cycle.
Bridget Brink continues to solidify her position as the strongest candidate to beat Tom Barrett in November – with the strongest fundraising and the most local endorsements from every corner of the district. Since launching her campaign last June, Bridget Brink has raised over $2.2 million. Brink has received more than 30,000 individual contributions, 94% $100 or less and more than 80% $25 or less. This includes contributions from 74 of Michigan’s 83 counties and all seven counties in MI-07. At the start of 2026, Bridget had nearly double the cash on hand of any challenger in the race.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the overwhelming grassroots support for our campaign to flip Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Our momentum sends a clear message: mid-Michiganders want leaders willing to shake up the status quo, hold the powerful, accountable, and tackle the high cost of living. That’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress,” said Bridget Brink, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and Democrat running for Michigan's Seventh Congressional District. “Mid-Michigan families are fed up with the chaos and corruption coming out of Washington. I'm running for Congress to lower costs for working families, fix our broken health care system, and hold Trump accountable. The momentum is on our side and we’re building the broadest coalition, with the resources we’ll need to beat Tom Barrett in November.”
