Bridget Brink Submits 2,000 Petition Signatures to Be on MI-07 Ballot
Brink: “We’re going to keep showing up in every corner of our district — listening, connecting, and building the coalition we need to win.”
LANSING, MI – Today, Bridget Brink turned in the maximum of 2,000 petition signatures to secure her name on the ballot for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District, double the required amount and maximum amount permitted by the Secretary of State. Since launching her campaign in June 2025, Team Brink supporters and volunteers collected more than 2,300 signatures from across mid-Michigan.
Without using paid canvassers, Team Brink collected petitions from Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Livingston, Oakland, and Shiawassee counties.

“I’m incredibly grateful to everyone across our district who signed our petition and to our amazing Team Members and volunteers who braved the wind, the rain, and the snow of mid-Michigan to make this moment possible,” said former U.S. Ambassador and Democratic candidate for MI-07 Bridget Brink. “We’re going to keep showing up in every corner of our district — listening, connecting, and building the coalition we need to win because our community is ready for new leadership. Let’s unseat Tom Barrett and take back the House!”
Bridget’s submission of 2,000 valid signatures comes on the heels of maintaining her fundraising advantage in her latest FEC filing, a new poll showing Brink with a double-digit lead in the MI-07 primary, and over 35 endorsements of her campaign, the most of any Democratic candidate. Completing this important milestone, Bridget charges towards the August primary with the resources, message, and coalition to beat Tom Barrett in November.
